Man Alive

When I finally silenced my inner critic, it sent me an email with constructive criticism! πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

I learnt not to defy this critic or war against it, but to simply love that part of me, and then the volume went down.

In the quiet recesses of our minds, the inner critic often reigns supreme, whispering doubts and self-judgments that can hammer away at our souls and destroy our confidence.

This relentless self-talk, if left unchecked, can isolate us, pulling us deeper into the confines of our own heads. The Man Alive retreats I host can offer a powerful antidote to this isolation by fostering genuine connection and open conversation amongst a group of like-minded men.

When we spend less time entangled in our thoughts and more time engaging with others, we create space for genuine understanding and support. Through shared experiences and honest conversations, we can dismantle the barriers erected by our inner critics.

Our Autumn retreats provide a place on the edge of Wales where men can break free from societal expectations and express their true selves without fear of judgment.

The importance of this camaraderie cannot be overstated for mental health. Isolation fuels negative self-talk, whereas connection cultivates empathy and self-compassion.

By discussing our struggles and triumphs with other men, we gain new perspectives and realize we are not alone in our battles. This collective wisdom and solidarity help silence the inner critic, replacing self-doubt with a sense of belonging and empowerment.

If you’re craving a real human experience deep in nature on the Welsh coast, I’d love to welcome you this Autumn.
